What’s Wrong and Can it be Fixed? Special Panel September 1
A community education forum, "What’s Wrong and Can it be Fixed," will focus on solutions to problems currently facing public education and expensive heavy transit alternatives in Hawaii. It is sponsored by the Grassroot Institute of Hawaii, Hawaii Pacific University Entrepreneurial Center and the Small Business Hawaii Entrepreneurial Education Foundation,
A panel consisting of former Governor Ben Cayetano, Cliff Slater of Honolulu Traffic.com, and educator, attorney, Randy Roth author of Broken Trust will propose specific fixes to education problems in Hawaii. They will also review heavy, elevated transit in Honolulu. SBH president Sam Slom will moderate.
The program will be held on Wednesday, September 1, at the Pacific Club, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. Cost is $25. For more information and reservations, contact Linda O'Grady at 285-8591.
